Patrons and customers who'e supported The Whip Tavern since we opened at the corner
of North Chatham (rte 841) and Springdell Roads in the spring of 2005 have been inquiring
about the ongoing discussion of parking. We thank you for your interest and offer the following update.

Initial complaints were raised by a small, yet vocal group of resident neighbors who were
concerned about the safety of the intersection.

Addressing their concerns, The West Marlborough Township issued an ordinance to
prohibit parking within one half mile in all directions from the intersection of
North Chatham Rd and Springdell Rd. in the summer of 2009. Further, The Township
announced the establishment of enforcement provisions and penalties for violations of this ordinance.

As of July 2010, the Zoning Officer of the West Marlborough Township has received
additional correspondence from these same parties whose complaints have
escalated to issues beyond safety.

office and may be reviewed in this PDF, along with the response from
the Zoning Officer as of October 6, 2010.

As of November 2010, the township's ruling is being appealed.
The Zoning Hearing Board will hear the appeal on December 16 at 7pm.
All are welcome,but township residents are strongly urged to attend.
